OBITUARY
Patricia Eileen Sawatsky
June 17, 1944 – August 4, 2018
It is with loving hearts that the family of Patricia announces her passing at the age of 74, on August 4, 2018, at Heidehof Home for the Aged. Back in the loving arms of her husband and best friend Donald Sawatsky (2015). Cherished mother of Kristy Woodrow (Michael Petkovich) and Michele (Micheal Lennox). Fondly remembered by her brother Milton (Sandra) Parcher of Port Hope and her dear uncle James Jeffrey of St. Catharines. Beloved Nanny to Victoria (Wayne) Forrest, Colin (Danielle) Forrest, Patrick Woodrow, Caitlyn (Zachary) Woodrow and Abby Congdon. Forever in the hearts of her great grandchildren Reiner, Sophia and Hayden. Always remembered by Don’s children Christopher (Renee) Sawatsky and Natasha Sawatsky. Treasured sister in law of Jack (Sylvia) Sawatsky, Ron (Blanche) Sawatsky and Rick (Maie) Sawatsky. Patricia will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews. She was a special woman and loved by everyone who knew her.
A special thank you to Dr. Arvinte and the staff at Heidehof for all of the care and support that was given to mom during her time with you. Your kindness has meant the world to us.
In keeping with Patricia’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received for visitation on Tuesday August 7, 2018 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL; 75 Church St. (905-684-6346). A private family service and inurnment will be held at a later date.
In memory of Patricia, donations may be made to the Make A Wish Foundation and would be greatly appreciated by the family.
