Forever missed & always remembered
Patricia Ann Munroe, age 75, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at home in Amherst, Nova Scotia. Patricia was born February 13, 1943 in Springhill, Nova Scotia. Patricia and her husband, Ian, were married on July 17, 1960.
She took pride in her work as a CCA at McAloney’s nursing home, finishing her career at Gables.
She will be sadly missed by her three children Sherry (Ed) Blakney, Nancy (Rob) Fraser and Shawn (Tina) Munroe; grandchildren Nicole (Bahaa), Stephanie (Tom), Jordan and great granddaughter Makenna. She will also be missed by her furry companion Lily.
Patricia enjoyed travelling, spending summers at the beach, socializing with friends, bingo nights, sewing, quilting, knitting and above all spending time with her family. She shared her love of baking with those close to her. She was always up for an adventure and her laughter and kindness were contagious. She will forever be in our hearts.
Following Patricia’s wishes, cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Campbell’s Funeral Home in Amherst, 98 Church Street, 902-667-9906 and there will be no visitation or service.
Memorial contributions in Patricia’s memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
