Pasqua Giovanna De Gasperis
June 24, 1923 – September 2, 2018
With great sadness and much heavy heart, the family of Pasqua Giovanna De Gasperis announces her passing peacefully on Sunday, September 2, 2018 with her loving family by her side at the age of 95.
She was born in Sora, Frosinone, Italy on June 24, 1923 and married her beloved husband of 71 years, Vincenzo on May 11, 1947. Adored Mother of Domenica (Carlo Fiorini), Santino (Gaetana) and Esther (Nick Marchesani). Cherished Nonna of Patricia (Silvio Lanni), Sonya (Mike Caron), Stephanie (Steve Senderovich), Vince, Paul (Mary) and Christina (Sal Coniglio). Proud Bisnonna to Paolo, Anthony, Robert, David, Nicky, Vincenzo, Matteo and Luca. Loving sister of the late Giuseppe Di Pede (Gina) and the late Vincenzo Di Pede (the late Maria). Pasqua will be fondly remembered and missed by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
An immense thank-you to Dr. J. David Giddens, nurses and staff at Weston Terrace Care Facility for taking care of our mother in her final years.
Guests will be received at Delmoro Funeral Home, 61 Beverly Hills Dr., (416-249-4499) on Wednesday September 5, from 2 – 4pm and 6 – 9pm.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St.Philip Neri Catholic Church (2100 Jane St.) on Thursday September 6 (Time to be confirmed). Entombment to follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, and in memory of Pasqua, donations may be made to Parkinson Canada or Autism Ontario.
