Olive Shields (Hall)
At the Maxville Manor on Wednesday, July 18, 2018. Olive Dorothy Shields (nee Hall) of Maxville; age 94 years. Beloved wife of the late Erwin Shields. Loving mother of Jack Shields (Elaine) of Apple Hill, Bill Shields (Wendy) of Strathmore, Helen Shields of Maxville, and Sherri Osmar of Ottawa. Cherished grandmother of Katherine (Hugh), John (Kim), Ryan (Jen), Robin, Megan, Shawn, Trevor, Laura (Andrew), Chelsea (Joel) and Corrina. Dear sister of Bruce Hall (late Doreen). Predeceased by her parents Alfred Hall and Ada Cooper and stepmother Aleda MacLean; also by siblings Ruby Laviolette, Douglas Hall (Mildred),Velma Summerville (late Glen) and Stanley Hall (Donna). Olive is survived by 16 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 20 Main St. South, Maxville (613-527-2898) on Monday, July 23, 2018 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and on Tuesday from 9:30 am until 10:30 am. Funeral Service will be held in the St. Michael and all Angels Anglican Church, Maxville on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at 11 am. Interment to follow in the Fenaghvale Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Maxville Manor Foundation would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Olive a tree will be planted in a memory woods
