Olinda Ernestine Thelfa
June 4, 1922 – November 16, 2018
Passed away peacefully on November 16, 2018, in her 97th year. Gracious and loving mother to Rosalind Ann Lee, Yvonne May Bayne, Sandra Ann Telfer. She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren Merryl John-Pierre Teixeira (Honorary Pallbearer), Michelle Samantha Telfer, Darren Paul Telfer, Alexander James Telfer, great-grandchildren Rene Yvonne Teixeira, Chelsea Ann Teixeira, Levi Telfer, Jamie Telfer, Leah Telfer, Nevaeh Telfer, Alana-Rae Telfer, and great great-grandchildren Allayah Teixeira, Dearon Teixeira, Ashawn Teixeira. She will also be missed by Elaine O’Donnell (niece) and her family, and Alan Spencer (nephew) and his family. Olinda was pre-deceased by her two nephews Gordon Spencer and Evan Spencer. She will also be missed by their families. A visitation will be held at Marlatt Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (615 Main Street) on Thursday, November 22, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A service will be held at the New Westminster Presbyterian Church on Friday, November 23 at 11am and a reception is to follow.
