Norman Joseph Richard
1935-2018
Norman Richard of Riverview passed away peacefully at The
Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, April 10, 2018. Born in Cocagne, he was
the son of the late Jacques and Marie Richard. He retired from Nabisco
Brands, was a former Account Manager for NB, PE and Eastern Quebec. He
loved to spend his spare time either playing crib or at the camp in
Portage Vale where he would do plenty of fishing and
hunting.
He will be dearly missed by his daughter, Heather Burgess
(Blaine) of Riverview; sons, Michael (Lena LeBlanc) of Cap Pele, and
Dennis (Dorice Babineau) of Elgin. Besides his parents, he was
predeceased by his brothers Francois and Leo and sister
Huberte.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of
Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd.,
Riverview E1B 0E4 (869-2007). In honouring Norman’s wishes,
there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place. A
private family interment will take place in Our Lady of Calvary
Cemetery at a later date. Donations can be made in Norm’s
memory to The Ronald MacDonald House Charities Atlantic (Moncton
Family Room) or the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation. Online condolences
