In Loving Memory of Norma Jean Garland
Garland, Norma Jean, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on December 17, 2017.
Born on December 14, 1937, in Saint John, NB, daughter of the late Arthur and Pearl (Rooney) Northrup.
Norma will be sadly missed by her son Robert (Janet) of Fredericton, two daughters Gwen Garland (Kevin Belliveau) of Colpitts Settlement and Janice (Gilles) Gagnon of Sussex. Also survived by seven grandsons; Wesley Michaud of Sussex, Eric, David and Mark Garland of Fredericton, Danny of Gananoque, Ontario, Ryan of Elgin, and Jesse Belliveau of Colpitts Settlement, brother, Brian (Heather) Northrup of Saint John as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Norma was predeceased by her husband Robert and siblings, Ronald, Kenneth and Joan.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Bernard’s Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 9:30 am. A reception will follow the service in the Church hall. Interment will be held at Fern Hill Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. Bernard’s Church or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
