It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Nina Mary (Matchett) Collins which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday, April 26th, 2018. Born 1967, in Dalhousie, NB, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Florence (Doucet) Matchett. Nina worked as a book keeper for many years and was a proud wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend. Her children were her pride and joy.
Nina was loved and will be missed by her husband Corey Collins of Barnesville; son Curtis Donald Gary Collins and daughter Hailey Marie Matchett Collins of Barnesville; father and mother-in-law Gary and Valerie Collins of Barnesville; sisters Susan Bourque (Raymond) of Hampton, Martha Maloney (Dave) of Embrun, ON, Sheila Schaetzle (Darren) of Calgary, Dawn Matchett of Ottawa, ON; nieces and nephews Jason, Laura, Justin, Geoff, Eric, and Kurtis; forever loved by her Nina Girls.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). As per Nina’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A Celebration of Nina’s Life will take place on Monday, April 30th at 2 p.m. at the Barnesville Presbyterian Church (1257 Rte. 820 Barnesville). Donations in Nina’s memory may be made to the IWK or to the charity of the donor’s choice. 143
