OBITUARY
Nila Villasenor
September 26, 1948 – August 22, 2018
It is with great sadness that we, Leo Christian and Rochelle Villasenor announce the passing of our Mother Nila Villasenor. She passed away peacefully on August 22nd 2018 at Surrey Memorial Hospital. She would have celebrated her 70th birthday this September. She will be especially missed by us – her son and daughter, her granddaughter Maya and her two grandsons Markus and Milo. She will also be missed by many loving relatives and dear friends.
She was born in Lucban, Quezon to Miguelito and Delfina Elma (both deceased). She had eight siblings – Pablo (deceased), Mercy (deceased), Mauro (deceased), Florecita, Alejandro (deceased), Leandro, Librado, and Cecilia.
After graduating from Manila Central University she became a Nurse and worked abroad to help support her family in the Philippines. She travelled to Germany, then arriving in Canada where she married Leopoldo Villasenor (deceased). Along the way she met many lifelong friends who she often recanted stories of her adventures with. She retired in 2011 from Surrey Memorial Hospital. She spoke fondly of many friends she met and patients she cared for with great pride while working there as well.
If you would like to celebrate her life with us there will be prayers and visitations on Thursday September 6th 2018 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Ocean View Funeral Home. The funeral service will take place at Corpus Christi Parish on Friday September 7th 2018 at 10:00 AM
