Nick Bidniak
On Friday, October 5, 2018 Nick Bidniak of Edmonton, Alberta, passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 92 years. Nick was born in Bellis, Alberta, one of eleven children born to John Bidniak and Mary Zukiwski who immigrated from the towns of Rarancha and Borochi in the Province of Bukovanya, Ukraine. Nick will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 69 years, Gloria Leatrice Bidniak, and daughter Debby (Kris) Raabel; sisters Bessie Kozak, Rosie (Trevor) Lien, and brother Metro Bidniak, as well as numerous nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Nick was predeceased by his eldest daughter, Wendy Muiselaar, who died in 2013, his parents John and Mary, siblings Celia Chizawsky, Verna Evans, Doris Camire, Steve Bidniak, Alex Bidnick, George Bidniak and Elizabeth Tobin. The family would like to thank the staff of Shepherd’s Care Kensington for their kindness and excellent care during Nick’s residence there.
