It is with profound sadness that we share that Nguyet Thanh Chuong passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, February 18, 2018.
Her life was so very well-lived: she is extraordinarily loved and her relationships were filled with endless generosity. She reveled in taking on new challenges, and exploring and traveling the world. She was always guided by her strong principles and integrity, but navigated the world with joyful wonder, energy and optimism. She captivated everyone she met with her magnetic personality and straightforward charm.
By her own resolve, she led the life she wanted and loved it. Her family was more important than anything else, and she knows without question how much she is deeply loved by her husband and children. She believed in them, invested in them, and delighted in their successes and happiness. The way she lived life and how much she gave to her children will inspire them for the rest of their own lives. She had a challenging life and had been through many trials, but she lived with the ease and blissfulness of someone who had never known a hard time.
She was supremely content and satisfied with life, finding great happiness in celebrating everyday joys – in her relationships, her routines, her every experience. At the end of a morning of yoga, a glass of fresh grapefruit juice and kissing her granddaughter before a nap, she would sit back and declare that life could simply not be any better.
Mom, although it feels too soon, we have some peace knowing that you lived the fullest life and you relished every moment you were with us. You have lifted our family up to the beautiful place that we are at now and you will continue to live on through generations of our family.
Nguyet Thanh Chuong lives on through: her loving husband, Binh Nguyen; her devoted children: Kay Nguyen (and Harindra Sebastian), Laura Nguyen (and Alan Berg), and Joe Nguyen (and Anjelica Bodnaryk); and her two cherished granddaughters, Kalla and Cece.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2018, at 5:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB.
