Obituary for
Nelson Chi Choy
With broken hearts, the family of Nelson Chi Choy announces his sudden passing at the age of 52 years.
Nelson was born in Hong Kong and raised in Canada. He attended Ross Sheppard Composite High School and the University of Alberta, receiving a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree in 1991. He ran several successful pharmacies; in particular, the IDA on Jasper Avenue in Edmonton.
Nelson is survived by his sisters, King (Kin) Kwan, Jean, Connie (Bosco) Leung and Yonnie (Samuel) Wong; brothers, Walter (Anita), Roger (Dora) and Daniel (Pauline); as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father, Mou Choy; mother, Shui Lam Choy; and brother-in-law, Tom Ng.
Funeral Service Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton with interment in Glenwood Memorial Gardens.
