Kersssies Nellie Marie
Nellie Marie Kerssies passed into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Oct. 16/2018 while a resident at Wentworth Height’s Nursing Home.Born in the Netherlands, Nellie came to Canada a young woman, and met her loving husband (late) Jan Kerssies of 52 years. Predeceased by both her parents and 11 siblings, Nellie is survived by her brother Andrew (Jenny) Mast, in-laws Jeanette Kerssies, Janny Elzinga, Henny & (John) TerSteege, John & (Joyce) Kerssies. She is remembered, and will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends, both in Canada and the Netherlands. If so desired, donations to Canadian Diabetes Association or First Christian Reformed Church Hamilton, would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. Special thanks to the staff at Wentworth Height’s Nursing Home for all their loving care and support. Visitation will be held Friday (Oct. 26/18) 7-9pm at Dodsworth & Brown Funeral Home, 378 Wilson Street, Ancaster Ont. Funeral Service will be held Saturday (Oct. 27/18) 10am at First Christian Reformed Church 181 Charlton Street, Hamilton Ont. Interment to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
