POUPORE, Neil Alexander “Nick” – Suddenly at home on Tuesday, December 18th, 2018 in his 82nd year. Nick Poupore (Member of Knights of Columbus and Royal Canadian Legion) of Pembroke, beloved husband of Rhea Poupore (nee Charbonneau). Loving father of Cathy (Shawn) Gladu and the late Mark Poupore. Cherished poppa of Taylor (Mark) Dawson, Bradley and Brady. Most loved great grand poppa to Hadley Dawson. Dear brother of Aiden Poupore (the late Velma), Betty (Terry) Nugent and Brian (Jacqueline) Poupore. Dear brother-in-law of Theresa (the late Doug) Warren, Margaret (Terry) Wendt, Geraldine (Dave) Newell and Joan Charbonneau (Paul McGuire). Predeceased by parents Rayburn and Mildred Poupore (nee Burnie), and by brother Dennis. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Neville Funeral Home, 491 Isabella St., Pembroke on Friday from 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Columbkille’s Cathedral, Pembroke on Saturday, December 22nd, 2018 at 1 p.m., followed by cremation. Members of Knights of Columbus Bishop Lorrain Council are requested to meet at the funeral home for prayers on Friday at 7:30 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
