Myrton P Spence
1932-2018
It is with great sorrow that we announce
the passing of Myrton Spence of Shemogue
N.B. on March 6, 2018 at the age of 85 at the Dr. Georges-L-DuMont
Hospital, Moncton.
Born September 14, 1932, he was the son
of the late Prescotte and Lily (Burgess) Spence of Shemogue,
N.B.
In life Myrton worked as a Mechanic and
then a Fisherman. In his later years he loved working on old tractors
in his garage and also had a love for old cars. He also
loved working with his tractor on his property and having coffee with
friends at his house. He always made funny and witty remarks even at
the end when he was very sick at the hospital.
He will be dearly missed by his Sister;
Ida Bourque as well as all his nieces, nephews and close
friends.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased
by two brothers Hansen Spence and Edward Spence.
In Keeping with his wishes, there will
be no visitation. A funeral Service will be held at the Port
Elgin United Church on March 23, at 2:00 pm with a gathering of family
and friends at his house in Shemogue afterward.
Any donations will be forwarded to the
Lung Association in memory of Myrton.
Cremation and funeral arrangements are
under the professional care of Jones Funeral
Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville
