Bowser, Myron Burton Webster – 80, Pugwash, passed away Friday, August 3, 2018, at East Cumberland Lodge. Born in Port Howe, he was a son of the late Burton Sherwood and Mildred Florence (Allen) Bowser. Myron had worked at E. L. Casey Construction, Amherst; Cumberland Paving, Collingwood; was a self employed trucker and worked with the Dept. of Transportation as an operator until his retirement in 2003. He was a member of the Pugwash and Area Volunteer Fire Department, Acadia Masonic Lodge, Pugwash, and the Nova Scotia Truckers Association. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and old time music. Surviving are his wife, Mae (Sarson) Bowser; daughter, Joan Bowser (Karl Schermerhorn), Lakeside; son, Steven Bowser, Fort McMurray, Alberta; grandchildren, Jeffrey Lawless, Alberta; Jennifer Lawless; Halifax; Jillian (Kyle) Warren, Cole Harbour; great-grandchildren, Ethan and Mia Warren; brother, Gary (Linda) Bowser, Amherst; nephew, Malcolm (Tammy) Bowser; great-nephew, Kyle (Nicole) Bowser; great-great nephew, Liam; great-great niece, Leia. Besides his parents he was predeceased by two children in infancy. Cremation has taken place. A private grave side service will be held in the Palmerston Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in memory may be made to the Pugwash Fire Department, North Cumberland Memorial Hospital or the charity of one’s choice.
