SMITH, Myrl Melville:
Fire Chief of Unionville and the Town of Markham after 38 years of dedicated service. Myrl died peacefully at Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Thursday November 1, 2018 , in his 95th year. He was the beloved husband of the late Beatrice Smith. Dear father of Michael Smith, Barton and his wife Patty Smith and predeceased by Ronald and Wayne. Lovingly remembered by his ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Survived by his sisters Audrey Sanderson and Joan Bowker and her husband Bob. The family of Myrl Smith will receive friends at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION & TRIBUTE CENTRE, 8 Princes’ Street, West, Fenelon Falls on Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service from St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 45 Russell Street, West, Lindsay on Thursday November 8, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. Private family interment at Zion Fenelon Cemetery.
