God called Murray home too soon on Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at the age of 38 years.
Murray was born on August 12, 1979 in Melfort, SK.
He grew up on the family farm and attended Naicam School. After high school, he moved to Saskatoon and completed a degree in Agriculture at the University of Saskatchewan.
He began his career working for New Holland and followed his dream of chasing combines.
In 2004, he married the love of his life, Angela, and they welcomed two beautiful children, Jayden and Julia.
Murray loved his family more than anything, and when they moved to Regina in 2008, he continued his role as an amazing dad to his children full time.
He loved family trips to Clear Lake, fishing excursions and being the captain of his boat. His annual trip to Mexico with Angela was the highlight of his year.
He loved to tinker, putz around and spend time in his tractor.
Murray was a true hockey dad and spent many hours at the rink with Jayden and Julia.
Murray was kind, gentle and had the biggest heart. He was always ready and willing to help anyone in need.
He had a long, difficult battle with depression and he fought it bravely and courageously.
Murray will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Angela, and their children, Jayden and Julia; parents, Sid and Helen; sister, Raenelle (Jeff) and their children, Austin, Brynlee and Callie; brother, Kevin (Sarah) and their children, Molly and Scarlett; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4001 East Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.
