Murray Hall
Sydney Mines / Toronto
It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Murray F. Hall, age 70, on Saturday, November 17, 2018, at the Toronto Western Hospital, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Sydney Mines on November 7, 1948, he was the son of Mary Day (Beaton) Hall and the late Archibald Hall.
Murray had a long career working the Lake Boats, and resided in Ontario for many years. He was an avid Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Blue Jays fan. He loved his family, church, country music, all animals, and sitting in the park feeding the birds. He never missed a Sunday where he didn’t call Mom. He loved to call his family to catch up on our news. His telephone calls will be missed.
He leaves to mourn his mother Mary, brothers Glen (Elizabeth), Donnie, Vincent and George, and sisters Rodina Bond, Frances Russell and Valarie Parks, many cousins, and several nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his great Ontario friends, Melvin and Mary MacNeil and Ray, and his pup Partner, who Murray loved to have around to keep him company.
In addition to his father, Murray was predeceased by his brothers Joe and Lawrence Hall, niece Tracey Bond, and most recent, brother-in-law Russell B. Bond.
In keeping with Murray’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service and interment will be held in the Spring.
“I’m 500 miles away from home.”
Nos plus sincères sympathies à la famille et aux amis de Murray Hall 2018..
