Peacefully at home on Thursday, June 28th, 2018 at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Ruth Whipp. Dear father of Elizabeth Carter (George), Melody Hurlbut (Larry), Debbi Arthurs (Bob McArthur), Susan Wiggins (Paul), Sandra Whipp, Graham (Betty-Anne) and John (Andrea). Cherished grandfather of Sarah, Shannon, Rebecca, Shawn, Curtis, Heidi, Serena, Taylor, Jordan, Candice, Travis, Nicholas, Benjamin, Sabrina, Stephany, Donald and Samantha. Loving great-grandfather of Lily, Grace, C.J., Keera, Nolan, Peyton, Caleb, Emmalee, Connor. Murray will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Wednesday July 4, 2018 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held at St. Mark’s Anglican Church, Orangeville, on Thursday, July 5th, 2018 at 11:00 am. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Murray in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
