Obituary of Muriel MacDonald
Muriel Elizabeth MacDonald, 92, passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2018 in Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow.
Born in Westville, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth and Myrtle (Jordan) MacDonald.
Muriel had moved to Toronto where she resided for over fifty years. While in Toronto, she worked for General Electric until retirement, returning to Pictou County in 1997.
The last surviving member of her immediate family, Muriel is survived nieces Joyce Gordon and Emily Lacey and nephews Kenneth and Gary Muir.
Muriel was predeceased by her brother Archie MacDonald; sisters Annie Muir; and Ethel Haslam.
There will be no visitations or funeral service by request. A grave side service under the direction of Eagles Funeral Home will be held on Sunday at 1 o’clock at the Auburn Cemetery, Westville with Rev. Greg Dickson.
