Muriel Amelia Ogilvie
Ogilvie, Muriel Amelia, September 29th, 1917 – July 26th, 2018. Formerly of Emmanuel Residences, Belleville, passed away at Ottawa in her 101st year. Predeceased by her parents William and Pearl Bennett of Aylesford, Nova Scotia, husband Don (1990), grandsons Dale and Richard Ogilvie and siblings Ralph, Elsie, Edith, Vorie, Willis, Alice, Elizabeth, Idena and Freda. Survived by her son Wayne (Donna) of Courtenay, B.C. and daughter Heather (Don Doyle) of Ottawa, grandsons Edward Ogilvie (Ruta), Paul Doyle, Gregory Doyle and great grandchildren Krista and Matthew Ogilvie, brothers in law Walter Griffin and Al Holden, as well as many nieces and nephews in Ontario and Nova Scotia. Special thanks to the staff at Carleton Lodge, Ottawa and to personal caregivers Mary Ellen, Carol and Anne, for their excellent care and for keeping Muriel smiling. For those wishing to do so, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association in Muriel’s memory, would be appreciated. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
