After a long battle with cancer and ALS on Monday, September 3, 2018, at the age of 59. Loving wife of Michael Hall for 15 years. Devoted mother of Melissa Brideau and Allison Brideau (Jenna). Cherished grandmother of Cailey Brideau (Morgan), Triftin Turrett, Blair Avery, Luke Young. Great grandmother of Kharma Gene Nice. Beloved sister of Elizabeth Delaney (Otis), Alvin Nelson (Mary), Wanda Anderson (Thomas) and predeceased by Lewis Young (Margalin). Monica will be fondly remembered by Patrick(deceased), Tina and Calvin and their children Meghan and the late Zachary and by her cousin Faith. She will be deeply missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Monica had a real love of life, she loved shopping, listening to music and having fun with her girls but most of all enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. The family would like to thank all the support she received from ALS Society, Ottawa Regional Hospital Cancer Ward, Ruddy-Shenkman Hospice, Champlain LHIN, Bayshore Home Healthcare, Access Healthcare, and the personal attention from Holly, Max,, Jean-Claude, Margareth, and Charlenne. A special thanks to Dr. Katerina Spacek and Dr. David Jonker. Memorial donations to ALS Society, Ruddy-Shenkman Hospice or the Canadian Cancer Society are appreciated.
