Minnie Osmond

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Minnie Osmond (nee Thomas) announces her passing at the Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre in Port aux Basques, NL on Friday, October 26th, 2018 at the age of 76 years. Born in Port aux Basques, NL. Minnie was the daughter of the late Arthur and Mary Thomas (nee Simms). She was also predeceased by her husband Wallace James Osmond and brother Fred Thomas.
She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her loving sons Colin (Cynthia) Osmond, Junior (Alisa) Osmond; grandchildren Lelsie Carter, Christina Osmond (David), Colin Jr. D Osmond (Leona); Mason Osmond (Santana), Jennifer Osmond (Darren); great-grandchildren Grayson, Addison, Teegan, Kirstyn, Brennan, Sheena, Zackary, Jax; brothers Edwin (Margaret) Thomas, Douglas (Dorothy) Thomas; sister-in-law Susan Thomas, plus life long friends Austin and Evelyn Janes, plus a large circle of extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 27th, 2018 from 7-9 pm at St. John The Evangelist Church in Cape Ray, NL from where the funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 28th, 2018 at 12 pm officiated by The Rev. Clayton Billard with interment to follow at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Barachois Hill, TCH, NL. Flowers are graciously accepted or donations in Minnie’s memory can be made to the St. John The Evangelist in Cape Ray, NL.
