It is with great sadness that the
family of the late ALMA MILLER of
Fortune, NL announces her passing at the Burin Peninsula Heath Care
Centre in Burin on Wednesday, March 7th, 2018, at the age of
71. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are
partner Stewart Miles of 27 years; son, Howard (Gloria) of Fortune;
daughters, Marilyn Lockyer (Raphael) of Lamaline, Sherry Brady (Ches)
of Fortune, Tracy Miller-Dodge of Grand Bank; brothers, Wilson Wells
& William Wells; step-brother, Ken Wells; 5 grandchildren,
Curtis Brady (Vanessa), April Parsons (Stephen), Tristan Dodge,
Jonathan Miller, Jordan Miller; 2 great-grandchildren, Brooklyn
& Reid Brady and special pooch, Hily. She was predeceased by
her husband, George H. Miller; brothers Arch, John & Tom;
Sisters, Georgie, Emily, Margaret, Matella; parents, Isaac &
Annie Wells.
The Miller Family will be accepting
visitors at All Saints Anglican Church in Fortune on Thursday, March
8th from 10:00am to 9:00pm & Friday, March 9th from
10:00am to 12:00pm. The Funeral Service will take place on Friday,
March 9th, at 2:00pm from All Saints Anglican Church, Fortune.
Intermet to follow at the All Saints Anglican Cemetery in
Fortune.
