Obituary of Mildred Woodland
Woodland Mildred Gertrude, 100 of Annapolis Royal formerly of Halifax passed away peacefully December 31, 2017 in the Annapolis Royal Nursing Home, Annapolis Royal. Born in Princedale she was a daughter of the late Noble and Amy (Feener) Dondale. She lived an amazing life as a teacher, stenographer and was an avid world traveler. Mildred is survived by her only son Peter of Digby, sisters: Betty Rushton, Yarmouth, Lorraine Saulnier, Annapolis Royal Nursing Home; brothers: Dr. Charles Dondale, Ottawa, and half-brother George Dondale, Annapolis Royal; several nieces and nephews. She predeceased by brothers: Carl, Warren and Phillip and granddaughter Christine. Mildred will be sadly missed by many. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday from the First United Baptist Church of Annapolis Royal with Rev. Dr. Elizabeth Legassie officiating.
