BRONSON, Mildred Renena (McFarland) – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our precious mother on Monday, August 27, 2018 at PRHC, at the age of 91. She was the beloved wife of Daniel (2009) and much loved mother of Susan Shaw (Fred), Patricia, Rebecca, Daniel (Patty-Anne), Peter (Rachel) Bronson and Robert McFarland. Special Grandmother of Andrew Shaw, Kristina Shaw, Laurel Lovell, Mary-Kate, Danny, Joanna, Kevin, Samuel, Jacob, Grace and Olivia Bronson. Wonderful Great-Grandmother of Jackson Harrison, Mackenzie, Parker, Malone and Bronson Fyndley Lovell. Dear sister of Lillian Phillips (late Harold) and sister-in-law of Gerald Bronson (late Kaye). She was predeceased by her parents Sarah and Robert McFarland, sisters Ruth (Jim) Henry, Mary (Sid) Mitchell, Violet (Bert) Edwards, Ethel (Ed) Duncan, Dorothy (Cecil) Robinson, Betty (Don) Willison, brothers Clarence, Ivan and Douglas McFarland and by her Bronson in-laws Daniel and Christena Bronson, Dora (Jim) Rae, Eleanor (John) Baxter, Pauline (Eric) Hartshorn. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Heartfelt thanks to the PSWs from Saint Elizabeth, CBI Home Health and the Palliative Care Staff at PRHC who cared for Mom. Special thanks and appreciation to Ann Lang and NP Lee-Anne Quinn for their devotion and loving care. Donations can be made to Braidwood Bible Chapel and Hope Grows Haiti. Mickey will be remembered for her long life of faithful service to her family, her church and her community. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Road on Saturday, September 1, 2018 for visitation from 10:00 am to 11:30 am followed by a Funeral Service in the Highland Chapel at 11:30 am.
