MORIER, Mick, Age 53-Dartmouth
It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Mick on July 12th 2018. He is survived by his parents Andre and Lucienne (Cessari) Morier and his brother Terry (Theresa) of Waverley. Mick has two nephews Dominique (Nadia) of Brighton, ON and Nathan (Cristina) of Lower Sackville also a great nephew Noah.
Mick was born in Montreal Quebec on May 16th 1965. The family moved to Nova Scotia in 1967. Mick was a kind and quiet person. He was studying to be a marine biologist and even spent a day with Jacques Cousteau aboard his ship. When Mick’s scuba instructor drowned in an accident it shook his world. He was unable to continue his studies. He went on to work other jobs. Mick was reliable and punctual. He was well-liked and respected by friends and coworkers.
We are devastated by the sudden death of Mick due to a massive heart attack. We love him dearly and miss him already.
Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Mick’s name.
Visitation will be 7:00-9:00 p.m. today (Thursday) in Dartmouth Funeral Home, 29 Queen Street, Dartmouth. Funeral mass will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Friday from St. Peters Roman Catholic Church, 10 Maple Street, Dartmouth. Father Jim Richards, celebrant.
