Michelle Lee McCormick
1987-2018
It is with great sadness that we
announce the passing of our sister, Michelle Lee
McCormick, 31, of Halifax and formerly of Springhill,
on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Northwood Care Centre, Halifax,
NS.
Born in Springhill, she was a daughter
of the late Donna (Casey) McCormick.
Michelle was a lover of all animals,
especially cats, dogs, and horses. She was loved and
cherished by her family and her caregivers at Northwood Care Facility,
with her sweet demeanor, love of music, and all things
crafty.
Michelle is survived by her siblings,
Shannon (Jon) Olson, Eastern Passage, and Randy McCormick of Halifax;
niece, Emilia; Aunts, Ruth Clarke, Gloria (Jim) Furlong, and Brenda
(Jack Boss) Clarke; as well as several cousins.
Besides her mother, Donna McCormick, she
was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Garnet and Polly Clarke,
as well as her cousin, Ian Jackson.
Arrangements are under the care and
guidance of A H Brown Funeral Home, 5
McFarlane Street, Springhill, (902 597 2361). Visitation
will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2018 from 2-4 pm. A
funeral service will take place at 3 pm on Sunday, December 16, 2018
from the funeral home with The Reverend Wayne McCarther
officiating. Spring burial will be held in the Mapleton
Cemetery.
Donations in memory of Michelle may be
made to the Huntington’s Society of Canada and the Northwood
Foundation, Halifax.
