It is with great sorrow that the family announces his peaceful passing at home on Wednesday, November 28th, 2018 at the age of 49. Son of the late Lucien and Claire (Dumais) Lafrance. Beloved husband of Nancy Dechamplain and dear brother of Claude Lafrance (Nathalie). Loving father of Alexandria Lafrance (Bradley Lafontaine) and Kyler Lafrance (Jessica Laforest). Step father to Nikola Goulet (Julianne Gagnon), William Dechamplain, Dariene O’Quinn, Jenna O’Quinn, Christian Dallaire, Marie-Michèle Dallaire (Brandon Bourgaize) and Travis Magee (Nikki Landgraff). Sadly missed by his mother-in-law Rosabelle Boudreau by his in-laws Henri and Denise Dechamplain and by many relatives and friends. Michel was a member of the Knights of Columbus council Father Marleau # 4773. He was also an field agent of Knights of Columbus insurance. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Monday, December 3rd, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. followed by a celebration to his memory at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel. Donations can be made by cheque or online to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. “Pray for love, joy and happiness!!”
