Michael’s Obituary
COLE, Michael Paxton of Digby passed away at Grand View Manor, Berwick, on November 21, 2018 surrounded by his family. Born in Ebley, England, he was a son of the late Percy and Millicent (Paxton) Cole. Michael was involved with the Sea Cadets and Navy League most of his life. He is survived by his wife Mabel “Jean” (McGinn) Cole; sons, Patrick Andrew (Vickielynn Burns) Cole, New Minas, James Percy (Sissel Ekness), Newport Station; grandsons, Paxton Cole, Mason Cole; step grandsons, Robbie Deveau, Randy Deveau, Chad Ponsford, Kurt Ponsford; step great grandchildren, Kayla Rita Hill, Trevor Joseph Hill Deveau, MacKenzie Marie Tremere Deveau, Gaétan Daniel Deveau, Gabriel Joseph Tremere Deveau and Aislyn Holly Marie Bonnanfant. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brother, Patrick Cole; daughter, Julie Elizabeth Cole and step great grandson, Alexander Joseph Deveau. Cremation has taken place. A gathering for family and friends will be held from 2-4 pm, Saturday, December 1st at the home of Patrick and Vickielynn Cole, 9606 Commercial St. New Minas.
