Michael Shane Molloy
On June 22, 2018 the world lost a bright light; a son, brother, father and uncle. Mike was special to all who met and loved him. He never forgot a birthday or special occasion without a special card. We will miss his amazing wit and beautiful smile. He found beauty in nature as displayed in his photos. He was a keen observer of the world around him and could always express a unique viewpoint. He was intelligent, thoughtful, and passionate about his beliefs. Mike loved golf, basketball and was born and died as a “Blue Bombers” fan. He was predeceased by his mom, Patricia Molloy; left to cherish his memory are his daughter Reilly Molloy of Courtice, his dad Dennis Molloy of Chesterville, his siblings Shauna (Ken Small) of Beausejour, Manitoba and Stephen (Corinne Pommer) of Winnipeg, Manitoba and many other family members.
Funeral Arrangements
A Celebration of Mike’s life will be held at the Marsden McLaughlin Funeral Home, 62 Queen Street, Chesterville, on Thursday, June 28th at 11 a.m. A reception will follow at the Royal Canadian Legion in Chesterville. In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged by the family. Online condolences may be made at marsdenmclaughlin.com.
