It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Melody Contant at the age of 70 years.
She is lovingly remembered by her Husband of 51 years, Claude; daughters, Chantelle (Todd) Hagerman and Suzette Jackal; grandchildren, Laura (Kai), Johnathan (Amanda), Ian, Chloe, and Cali; caregivers and friends, Janice Brake and Vincent Catacata; brother, Peter Kaushakis; Uncle Glynn York and their families. Thank you to all of our family and friends for their loving support and prayers over the years.
A special thank you to Janice for her 20+ years of devoted care for Melody as an Angel from God – and staying by her side until the very end. As well, a thank you to the Sturgeon Hospital Staff for their excellent care for Melody.
Prayers will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday December 30, 2018 at Connelly-McKinley, St. Albert Funeral Home, 9 Muir Drive St. Albert, AB.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 31, 2018 at St. Albert Catholic Parish, 7 Street Vital Ave, St. Albert, AB.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada Alberta Division #150, 9405 – 50 Street, Edmonton, AB T6B 2T4.
