Mrs. May Lin Wong
June 26, 1945 – October 4, 2018
Mrs. May Lin Wong (nee Lee), of Burnaby, British Columbia was born on June 26, 1945 in Tai Shan, Province of Guangdong, China passed away on Thursday October 4, 2018.
May Lin was predeceased by her Husband Nine Hong Wong in 2010 and is survived by son Cary, grandson Joshua; daughter Caroline (Jimmy) Lowe, granddaughters Megan and Caitlin.
May Lin immigrated to Canada in 1967 and was married to Nine Hong. In addition of being a busy mother and wife, she had a long career of being a skilled seamstress in the garment industry until her retirement, in which, she enjoyed the slow pace of life she longed for. She particularly enjoyed caring for her beloved grandchildren in her twilight years.
A visitation for Mrs. Wong will be held Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 3789 Royal Oak Ave, Burnaby, BC V5G3M1. A funeral service will occur Friday, October 12, 2018 at 10:00 AM. Burial will occur following the funeral in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
