OBITUARY
Maxine Myrtle Rikley
15 June , 1947 – 9 September , 2018
With saddened hearts we announce the passing of Maxine Rikley (Nee Dittto) of Chase, B.C. on Sunday September 9, 2018 at the Kamloops Hospice Home. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was born in Makwa, Saskatchewan on June 15, 1947.
Maxine will be missed by her husband of 34 years Ron, her two children Del (Ethna) Cratty of Langley and Billie-Jo (Jim) Bennett of Kelowna; her step children Ron Jr Rikley and Dena (Jack) Abraham of Kelowna; her grandchildren Jory (Shyanne) Cratty, Mason Cratty, Rhys Cratty and Cody Trant and great grandson Metteo Cratty. Also left to cherish her memory, her sister Sharon Woodman and family and her brother Maurice (Florence) Ditto and family. She was predeceased by her sister Donna Palmer and brothers Marvin Ditto and Harold Palmer.
Maxine was a nurturing Mother and Grandmother always active in her children’s lives. She enjoyed her life’s work of caring for others which spilled into her personal life. She was passionate about her two Westies, shared her love for gardening, boating and fishing and enjoyed creating a warm inviting home.
As per Maxine’s wishes a Celebration of life will be held in 2019.
