Obituary for Maxime Lauzon
Passed away peacefully with Rollande and Delia by his side at the Timmins and District Hospital on Thursday January 11, 2018 at the age of 62. Cherished brother of Dora McCoy (Omer) of Charlton, ON., Annette Delaney (late Joe) of Nova Scotia, Florence Beaudry (late Roger) of Sudbury, Rollande Smith (Tex) of Kirkland Lake, Delia Perreault (late Claude) of Kirkland Lake and Roland (Judy) of British Columbia. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews and by his good friends, Fr. Lapalme, Wayne and Renate Landry and Mike and Linda Cura. Predeceased by his parents and Doniathe (nee Duquette) and Maxime Lauzon Sr. and by his brothers Joseph, Fortune and Herman Lauzon. Maxime loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He also devoted his time and volunteered with the Lords Kitchen and the Canadian Mental Health Association. Thank you to the staff at Access Better Living and to the Timmins and District Hospital – Hospice Centre. A memorial service will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Cathedral on Tuesday January 16 at 2 pm.
Remembrance donations made in Maxime’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation would be appreciated.
