Obituary of Mavis Stewart
Mavis Stewart (nee Bowler) – born October 26,1924, died January 13, 2018
On January 13, 2018, Mavis peacefully passed away in her sleep. She was 93 years old. She had been living at the Chalet Malouin in St. Malo, Manitoba. Mavis enjoyed living there and commented often on how well they looked after her.
Mavis is predeceased by her husband, Calvin. Her 5 children – Elaine(Neil Watt), Alvin (Maureen), John (Sandy), Colleen (Jeremiah Watt), Carol (Barney Barnson), 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren will be celebrating her life on February 10, 2018 at the Morris United Church, 207 Ottawa, Morris, Manitoba at 2 p.m.
The family extend sincere thanks to all who helped Mavis on her journey, in particular, the staff at the Chalet Malouin, St. Pierre Hospital and Steinbach Hospital.
Donations can be made to the Foundation at Desalaberry District Health Centre in St. Pierre or for Resident Activities at the Chalet Malouin Inc. in St. Malo
