It is with much sadness and much love that we say goodbye to our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and great aunt, Mavis, who passed away ever so peacefully October 25, 2018, at the age of 93 years.
Her life of grace, radiant love and extraordinary ability to forgive will be forever cherished by her children, Kennerly (Wendy), Hewley (Esther), Ainley (Jennifer), Carlyn (Corey), grand children Liam (Jocelyn), Jonathan, and Isabelle, her great-grandson Mason, and her many dear nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Mavis was predeceased by her loving husband Joshua, and grandson Justin.
The family wishes to express their most sincere gratitude to the Health Service Aides, Nurses, Doctors and other caring staff of Touchmark at Wedgewood, Lynnwood Capital Care, Lifestyle Options Terra Losa, and the staff at Unique Dental Hygiene for their kind care and support given to Mavis during her stays.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at 11:00am at St. Matthias Anglican Church, 6210 188 Street NW, Edmonton. Mavis will be laid to rest at Rosehill Cemetery.
