January 5, 1925 – December 30, 2017 Passed peacefully into the glory of His amazing grace after a brief illness at Wentworth Lodge, a few days before her 93rd birthday. Predeceased by husband, Fred (1996) and her son James (1998). Loving mother of Elaine (Philip) Zelenyt, and dearly loved Grandma of Emily. Maureen was born in Roland, Manitoba, and grew up on the family farm. She received her BA from the University of Manitoba in 1945. Maureen taught high school in Teulon, MB where she boarded with the Grahame’s and met Fred who would be her loving husband for 49 years until his death.
