Maude Morrison
March 10, 1942 – January 7, 2018
With sadness and many fond memories the family of Maude Morrison announce that she passed away peacefully in the evening of Sunday, January 7, 2018. Maude was born at Pelican Lake First Nation on March 10, 1942 to George and Minnie (nee: Bear) Whitehead.
The wake service for Maude began at 6:00PM on Monday, January 8, 2018 at the Pelican Lake First Nation Band Hall. The funeral service will commence at 11:00AM on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at the Pelican Lake First Nation Band Hall with Marvin and Delores Netmaker and David Masuskapoe officiating. Interment will follow in the Pelican Lake First Nation Cemetery. Bev Morin will deliver the eulogy. The pallbearers are Harvey Netmaker, Delbert Dreaver, Rudy Netmaker, Shaun Thomas, Francis Rabbitskin and Irvin Lewis Jr. Honorary pallbearers are all family and friends who knew and loved Maude.
Maude is survived by: her sister-in-law, Cecile Whitehead; her step daughter, Darlene Morrison of Nova Scotia and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. She is predeceased by: her husband, Dave Morrison; her parents George Sr. and Minnie Whitehead; her sister, Rose Netmaker; her brothers, Jim, albert and Jeffrey Whiteheadher sisters-in-law Lillian Whitehead and Bella Smallboy.
