Farmer, Mary J. It is with great sadness that the family of Mary J. Farmer announces her sudden passing on Thursday, January 4th, 2018, at the age of 77. Mary was the daughter of the late Tracey and Laura (Hatt) Dorey of Bridgewater. Mary is survived by her husband Alfred A. Farmer; daughters Valerie White, Teresa Richardson (Ken), her niece Rhonda Jefferson, whom she considered a daughter; grandchildren Kristin White, Megan White and Jeremy Jefferson; great grandson Graycen Meisner; sisters Irene Dorey and Pauline Miller; sisters in-law Betty Dorey, Glenda Dorey, and Donna Dorey; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by sister Barbara Brown; a brother in infancy; brothers Merle Dorey, Donald Dorey and Willis Dorey and son in-law Tony White. Visitation will be held 7-9 pm on Friday, January 12th at Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Memorial service will be held 10 am, Saturday, January 13th at Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the Canadian Cancer Society. Mary’s kindness and compassion will always be remembered. Cremation has taken place and the interment will be at a later date.
