Mrs. Mary Farquhar (nee Jones)
July 25th, 1932 – November 3rd, 2018
Passed away peacefully surrounded by family in the Lady Minto Hospital at the age of 86. Just shy of her 67th, wedding anniversary with her beloved husband Douglas Farquhar. Predeceased by brothers Billy and Davie Jones. Survived by her sister Marjorie (late George) Farquhar and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her children Lyle (Cathy), Debbie (J.P.) Kirkbride, Elaine (John) Heaslip, Cory (Vivian) Farquhar, Linda (Shawn) Hattie. Loved by her many grandchildren Sarah, Elizabeth, Dawn, Stacy, John, Taylor, Sean, Mary Rose, Alyssa and Kirstin. As well as her great-grandchildren Kayla, Ross, Faith, Tierney and Rory. At Mary’s request she will be cremated and no service will be held at this time.
Heartfelt Thanks for the compassion and care shown by the hospital staff. Mary’s cheerful and considerate attitude will be greatly missed by all those who’s touch life
