Obituary of Mary Lennox
Mary passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Innisfree House Hospice, Kitchener, Ontario on Friday, April 13, 2018 at the age of 83.
Predeceased by her husband Gerald Marks, parents Hubert Lovely and Patricia Canem, sisters Anne Chitty, Barb Green and brother Bill Lovely.
Mary is lovingly remembered by her children Michael Lennox (Vanessa), Paul Lennox (Diana), Peter Lennox (Tammy), Jane Laan (Jaak), Cheryl Davidson (Scott), and Lori Harmer (Alec). Proud Grandma of her ten grandchildren, Alexandra, Tristan, Tiernan, Sarah, Todd, Cameron, Laura, Jen, Tori, and Nick and Great-grandma of Ewan, Paxton, Emerson, Rhys, Ashton and Georgia. Mary is also survived by her dear sisters Charlotte Southwell (Fred), Joyce Chase (the late Paul) and a special mention to Aunt Shirl.
Mary’s birthplace of Moose Mountain, New Brunswick always held a special place in her heart. She was passionate about gardening, baking, reading and spending time with her family and friends. Mary’s family expresses their sincere gratitude and appreciation to the staff of Innisfree House for their care and compassion.
Mary’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 from 11-11:45 a.m., followed by a memorial service in the Funeral Home Chapel at 12 noon. A reception will immediately follow in the funeral home’s Fireside Room.
