Obituary
Mrs. Mary Rockwell (nee Whelan) passed peacefully away at Pleasantview Towers on January 21, 2018, aged 85 years. Mary was predeceased by her husband Carmen (A.C) Rockwell, her parents, Captain John and Marcella Whelan, her brothers, Dr. Patrick Whelan and Fr. John Whelan, and sister Agnes Greene. Leaving to mourn Mary are her loving family: step daughter Corrine(Bob) Ledrew, Carolynn MacFarlane, and Claire(Laurie)Willar. Grandchildren, Bob and Lorne Ledrew, Tony and Jeannie MacFarlane, and Darin, Dayna, Devon and Denise(Caines)Willar. Siblings George Whelan (Gloria), Dr. Ron Whelan (Betty Lou) and sister-in-law Marie Whelan. She had many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends who will always remember her wonderful sense of humour and zest for life. Visitation at Carnell’s Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 23 from 2-4 and 7-9. Wednesday, 10-12. Funeral service to take place at Carnell’s chapel on Wednesday, Jan 24th at 1:00pm.
