It is with deep sadness that the family of the late Mary « Margaret » Marguerite Shelley announces her passing. Mary passed away from the Carmellite House, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Sunday, July 1st, 2018 at the age of 76 years.
Mary is predeceased by her parents – Thomas & Philomena Lewis; granddaughters – Tricia Lewis & Micki Glavine; brothers – Jerome Lewis (Juanita) & Ronald Lewis; siblings-in-law – Angela Drover (Pat), Gerald Shelley, Steve Shelley, Elizabeth Shelley & Jack Traverse.
Left with many memories is her husband of 58 years, Bill Shelley; children – Cindy Lewis (Mick), Shirley Barrett (Bill), Carrie Shelley (Tyrone), Anita Walsh (Wish) & Bonnie Shelley-Glavine (Jude); grandchildren – Shelley (Jason), Angie, Niki (Steve), Cody (Jo), Courtney (Les), Justin (Malayna), Christian, Jordan & Chloe; great-grandchildren – Peyton, Benjamin, Silas & Lucy; brothers – Kevin Lewis (Madeline) & Pat Lewis (Madeline); siblings-in-law – Josephine Traverse, Tom Shelley (Cindy), Pat Shelley (Sheila), Liz Lewis (George), John Shelley (Mary Anne), Neat Walsh, Minnie Shelley & Philomena Shelley.
Public Visitation will take place from St. Theresa’s Roman Catholic Church, Fleur de Lys, NL on Friday, July 6th, 2018 from 6:00PM to 9:00PM.
The Rosary Service will take place on Friday, July 6th, 2018 at 6:30PM.
The Wake Service will take place on Friday, July 6th, 2018 at 7:00PM.
The Mass of Christian Burial will take place from St. Theresa’s Roman Catholic Church, Fleur de Lys, NL on Saturday, July 7th, 2018 at 11:00AM.
As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted, or donations may be made in Mary’s memory to St. Theresa’s Roman Catholic Church, Fleur de Lys, NL A0K 2M0.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Foster Funeral Home, 22 Main Street, Baie Verte, NL.
