BOURQUE Mary Margaret 88 of River Bourgeois passed away June 24, 2018 at the Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston.
Born in Richard’s Pond, Richmond County, she was the daughter of the late Hilaire and Maria (Raçon) Richard.
She was a member of St. John The Baptist Parish and a devoted member of the CWL with over 50 years of service; a hard working woman all of her life, Margaret will be remembered for her hospitality when you visited her home, and for always looking out for the needs of others and her great sense of humor .
She will be remembered by her children Gerry (Patsy), River Bourgeois; Lawrence, Halifax; Basil (Vera), River Bourgeois; Ida (Robert), River Bourgeois; Maria (Wayne), River Tillard; Norma (Danny), Port Hood; Cedric (Kim), Gormanville; Esther, Lononderry/ River Bourgeois, June, Halifax; Paul (Leanne), Edmonton; grandchildren Kathleen, Ricky, Jeremy, Jeffrey( Larissa), Ashley, April, Nelson, Donna Marie, Melanie, Emilie, Alex, Jack, Lauren; great grand children Reagan and Evelyn.
Margaret was predeceased in 2003 by her Husband Ernest Louis; brothers Edward (Bertha), Gerard (Germaine) Amable (Maria) and Joseph.
Resting in the River Bourgeois Visitation Parlor on Wednesday from 2-9 pm ; Funeral Mass will be offered Thursday at 11 a.m. from St. John The Baptist, Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Antolin Asor, presiding, burial will follow in the Parish Cemetery. Please note due to allergies, the family requests those visiting refrain from wearing any scented products.
Memorial donations may be made to River Bourgeois Visitation Parlor or Strait Richmond Palliative Care.
Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of Green’s Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury.
