Mary Dickson
Peacefully, with her loud, silly, adoring family by her side, Mary (“Bunty”) slipped away at Victoria Hospital on January 21st to start her next adventure. Beloved wife of the late Bill, the love of her life. Loving and cherished Mother (“Momer”) of Rob (Jennifer) of Ottawa, Loreena (John) of Strathroy, and Shannon Donkervoort (Jeff). Adoring “G’ma” of Amy-Rose, Matthew and Sarah, grand-dogs Dasdy, Felix, Joey and Sophie, and Nessie the cat. Honourary G’ma of Dori. She will be greatly missed by her beloved sister Marina Darragh (Alf). Pre-deceased by her beloved brother Bill Holmes, and survived by her cherished sister-in-laws Lois Houghton and Kay Holmes, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and their families. Best friend and kindred spirit of Pamela Southern. She will also be missed by many other dear friends. Many thanks for the excellent and loving care from Dr. Fleming, and the staff at Victoria Hospital. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of life on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at 3 pm at Memorial Funeral Home, 1559 Fanshawe Park Road, East of Highbury, London 519-452-3770. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Kidney Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or the London Humane Society.
