Mary Christina Orr
April 13, 1922 – October 27, 2018
ORR, Iola – On the morning of Saturday, October 27th, 2018, Iola passed away in her 97th year at the F.J. Davey Home. Beloved wife of the late Neil. Loving mother of the late Jim (Edith) and Linda (Doug Kauffman) of Vancouver. Much loved Grandmother of Jennifer Gudrie (Curtis) of Sundridge and Becky Martone (Vic) of Sault Ste. Marie. GG to Olivia, Avery and Liam Gudrie and Tia and Mason Martone. Dear sister of the late Alvin Robinson (late Viola), late Ruby Shuttleworth (late Alex), late Helen McKinnon (late Haig), and Bernie Matheson (Gordon). She will be forever remembered by many nieces, nephews and special friends. The last five months have not been easy for Iola. The care and compassion shown by the 2B staff at the Sault Area Hospital and Apple Orchard of the F.J. Davey Home for Iola is greatly appreciated by the family. Your smile, your dedication and love did not go unnoticed. For this, the family will be forever thankful. Friends are invited to visit at the Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E. 705-759-2522) on Monday October 29, 2018 from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. Funeral service to follow in the chapel at 1 pm. The Rev. Dr. David Zub officiating. Interment Sands Cemetery (Mount Zion).
