Lovingly Remembered
Martha (Mona) D’Amour of Chestermere, Alberta passed away peacefully at home at the age of 94 years.
She was predeceased by her loving husband Patrick in 2010 and her son Brent in 2017. She is survived by her eight remaining children; Donna Lamboo, Clifford (Gayle), Ronald (April), Deborah Jaskolski (Alan), Wendy D’Amour (Duncan MacMartin), Tracy Denette (Daniel), Trevor, and youngest daughter Kelly (Winston Spear). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was born in Londonderry, Northern Ireland where she met and married the love of her life Patrick in 1944. The new war bride immigrated to Canada in 1945 and quickly embraced her new country. She was a loving wife and mother and her family meant everything to her, right to the end. Over the years she enjoyed camping, weekend card games and family dinners. Sharing those interests with family and her best friend Yvonne. She will be forever in our hearts and truly missed.

A Celebration of Mona’s life will be held in the original Chapel of Mountain View Funeral Home (1605-100 Street. S.E., Calgary) on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to join for reception immediately following in the Arbor Lounge.
