Marion Robillard
It is with saddened hearts we announce the sudden passing of Marion Elaine Robillard on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 in Prince Albert, SK at the age of 57 years, she passed peacefully in her sleep with her husband by her side. Marion was born on Wednesday, June 28, 1961 in Prince Albert, SK. She was raised in Nordale by her parents, Walter and Annette Basaraba. She was blessed with four children and was a second mom to many, always willing to open her doors or garage to spend a few nights or a few months. She received a second chance at love and married her loving husband John on September 23, 2011. Together they have 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. Marion enjoyed playing bingo, heading to the casino with her daughters and most of all spending time with her family and friends.She would always say « I don’t have lots of money, but I have lots of love. » She was a caring and kind wife, mother, grandma, great-grandma, sister, auntie, and friend who just wanted her family together. All her grandchildren were the sparkle in her eyes. Over the past few years her health declined and her daughters, husband, and son-in-law, Jeff, took care of her in their home. Even though mom was always « ok » in her mind. A Prayer Service for Marion will be held at 7:00 p.m., on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at River Park Funeral Home, 301 River Street West, Prince Albert, SK, and her Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, October 29, 2018 at Nordale Hall, 1306 6 Ave NW, Prince Albert, SK. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to La Fille La Madeleine, 403 13th Street East, Prince Albert, SK, S6V 1E2.
